about

YOU FANTASTIC!'s one and only "album" (following two earlier EPs). Recorded all over - over 4 years. If post-rock's your bag, we've got the inhalants. YF! is post-band. Thymme Jones, Darin Gray and Tim Garrigan (of renowned acts such as Dazzling Killmen, Brise-Glace and Cheer Accident) pal up to create an album that simultaneously soars and plummets.

The assemblage takes the college radio kids back to Brise-Glace's "When In Vanitas", but Thymme and Darin keep saying "Speechless"-era Fred Frith and Herb Alpert. No matter what, You'll say Fantastic.

22 tracks over 70 minutes.

FUN FACT(S): As the deadline loomed, Thymme Jones raced against the clock to finish compiling and mixing the album. Thymme brought the master over only to find that the SKiN GRAFT stereo system was on the blink, and in an inspired moment of improvisation, a cassette player was lined into the SG stereo television for a midnight listening session.
