THE JESUS LIZARD's Duane Denison and Jim Kimball come out swingin' and cover all the bases. The DK3 are joined by fellow LIZARD David Wm. Sims on keys, Reg Shrader on bass and Ken Vandermark on sax to create a sprawling soundscape that far exceeds any easy label like "jazzcore", and shows an understanding of ambience that belies their rock roots.

FUN FACT: With the release of "Soul Machine, Sub Pop put out a Denison Kimball Trio 7" with artwork by Dan Grzeca (who designed the cover art for the bands first LP "Walls In The City".
